How to clean commercial refrigerators?

1. Cleaning the surface of commercial freezer

Keeping the surface of commercial freezer clean and clean is an indispensable operation for every high-use kitchen. It can also greatly reduce the chance of dust and bacteria entering the freezer when the freezer is opened and closed. Therefore, the cleaning of the surface should be frequent, and it is best to wipe it every day. If there is dirt that is difficult to remove, you can wipe it with a soft cloth dipped in soapy water, then wipe it off with water and wipe it dry.


2.  Cleaning of internal components

In order to prevent food residues from breeding bacteria to contaminate the food, we must regularly clean the food residues inside the freezer. When cleaning, just remove them and wash them with clean water. But be careful to wipe dry before putting it back, and do not let water enter the inside of the freezer.


The above two are relatively simple cleaning, which will not affect the normal operation of the freezer. The following operations must be performed when the power is off, and safe operation specifications must be ensured.


3. Defrost the inner wall

Manual defrosting is usually a direct-cooled commercial freezer, and an air-cooled freezer is automatic defrosting: after the freezer works for a period of time, the water vapor entering the cabinet will form frost on the inner wall of the freezer. Frost is a bad conductor, and its presence will hinder the heat exchange in the freezer. If the thickness of the frost layer exceeds a certain thickness, the refrigeration efficiency of the freezer will drop significantly, and the power consumption will also increase significantly. Long-term operation in a state where the frost layer is too thick will shorten the life of the freezer. The defrosting plan of the direct cooling freezer is as follows:

1. First, unplug the power cord and cut off the power

2. You can put a pot of hot water in the freezer

3. Use a hair dryer to accelerate the melting of the frost

4. Use vegetable oil or glycerin to wipe the inner wall of the freezer (the oil can form a protective film to make it more difficult to defrost in the future, and it can also make the food residue stuck on the inner wall of the freezer can be easily wiped off)

The frost water is drained from the kitchen drain in a straight line. Reduce the trouble of manual defrosting and greatly improve the efficiency of commercial kitchen refrigerators. We recommend cleaning the dust-proof net once a month, which can improve the working efficiency of the freezer, the cooling speed is faster, the failure rate of the freezer is reduced, and the service life of the freezer is prolonged.


4. Cleaning of the evaporator of the commercial freezer

Since the freezer will form a magnetic field with static electricity during operation, it is particularly easy to attract dust to the evaporator of the freezer. Excessive dust in the evaporator will affect the normal heat dissipation of the freezer, so take advantage of the opportunity of "big cleaning", do not forget to clean the surface of the condenser and compressor on the back of the freezer. When cleaning, do not use water, not to mention alcohol, detergent and other liquids that may be corrosive. Just use a brush to remove the dust. If you have not cleaned it for a long time, and there is too much dust, it is recommended to use a vacuum cleaner. The effect will be better. 5. Cleaning the door seals of commercial refrigerators

When cleaning the freezer, there is a very important link that is easily overlooked, that is, cleaning the door seal. The stains on the door seal will accelerate the aging of the door seal, reduce the airtightness of the freezer, cause the temperature in the freezer to be unstable, and increase the power consumption of the freezer. Therefore, we must always check whether there is dirt in the door seal, and not near the bottom. When cleaning, you can wipe it with a soft cloth dipped in soapy water, and then wipe it dry with water. Remember to do it gently and don't damage the structure of the door seal. If the door seal is damaged, replace it in time, otherwise it will affect the cooling effect of the freezer.
